BACKGROUND:
Ardith earned
her Master of Arts degree in
Counseling Psychology at the
University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
She is a Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota and is the owner of
Maple Grove Counseling Center, P.A., a private practice group.
Prior to becoming a psychologist in 1986, she was an RN working
in psychiatric and mental health settings for 15 years.
With her combined background as a psychiatric nurse and Licensed
Psychologist, Ardith has over 30 years of clinical experience in the
mental health field.
SPECIALTIES:
Ardith works
with adults.
Her areas of expertise include: psychological aspects of disease
processes, trauma recovery and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD),
anxiety disorders, clinical depression (with experience in monitoring
the effects of antidepressants prescribed by physicians), complex grief
recovery, workplace stress, and adjustment disorders.
